Procrastination

Hello people!

Lily returns after a long and hard battle to the fires of Mt Doom, earning a break from this blog. Well, to be honest, I haven't been on a quest. Or been admitted to hospital with a terminal illness. Nothing interesting apart from talking to my crush (Don't know how I survived that!) has happened to me.

You see, I've been procrastinating. Avoiding things I need/want to do is one of my specialties. I mean, for me it is as simple as turning on my laptop and BOOM! An hour is gone. Easy as that. I have been plagued by procrastination since forever. And so I thought, why not share it with you?
So, here is

How to Procrastinate like a Pro: Another totally reliable guide by Lily

Now, there are many ways to procrastinate, and this guide will cover the major spheres of procrastination.

1. Internet/Websites

This is the most major form of modern procrastination. Avoiding real life and going on the internet. This technique is very easy and you only require a device and an internet connection. Here is a list of websites to waste your life on.
-All social media
-Youtube
-This Site  Who knew killer whales could be so satisfying? (only works on computers)
-http://www.findtheinvisiblecow.com/ Does this need explaining? Disclaimer: Play this game with headphones otherwise you could be in for a nasty surprise.
-http://thisissand.com/  Play around and make piles of coloured sand everywhere. (More fun than it sounds)
-Starfield Zoom through the stars at the speed of light away from your responsibilities.
And finally....
-http://eelslap.com/ Slap a man in the face with an eel in slow motion. Or high speed. Or backwards!

2. Mental

This the original form of Procrastination. When you have no way or reason to procrastinate, you do it yourself! A typical example is as follows.

Lily: I am going to be super productive today and get all of my work done.

Lily's Brain: Hey, you see that dot on the wall? It's pretty interesting eh? How about we wander aimlessly around the house? Or enter a room and forget why we went in? Or look inside the fridge? Or lie face down on the floor! It'll be super fun!!!!!!!!

Lily: *Does all the things*

Lily: What is life

3. Visible fun things/Entertainment

This procrastination takes a lot of will power not to feel guilty about because you are visibly doing something that you should do after the work is done. Parents are especially disapproving of this. Luckily I am practically the Green Lantern in terms of willpower so it doesn't bother me.

-T.V and Movies (Some of my favourites are Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Lord of the rings, all of which provide chances for very long marathons!)
-Reading The old classic that gets me every time.
-Going Out with friends/Girlfriend/Boyfriend I am not a victim of this but my brother certainly is. (I swear he can't survive a minute without his girlfriend.)

Well, I hope this has been informative. I now expect you to do nothing productive for at least a half hour. Put all you have learned into practice. Thanks for reading this! I'd love to hear from you down in the comments.

Arrivederci, Lily
